Created and executed a PR campaign to support this Haitian NGO’s inaugural Run Across Haiti fundraiser.

Established media section on website and profiles of each runner; wrote and distributed press release and updates; gathered, managed and pitched daily reports from the field; provided support for robust social media campaign.

 

Results

  • Received extensive coverage of individual runners including on local NPR stations, TV talk shows and hometown newspapers.
  • Assisted collective runners in exceeding fundraising goal by 10%.
  • With the goal of raising 75% more than previous year, recruited 200% more runners for 2nd annual Run in 2016. They once again exceeded their 2016 fundraising goal.
